I was born in Newport RI in 1947. I was raised on a horse farm in Middletown RI. I grew up riding horses, training, buying, selling, and competing in various horse shows. I did this most of my life. After a short break getting drafted into the Army and being sent to Vietnam in 1966. I returned home to finish my time left in the army at Ft. Stewart, GA in November 1968.
After the military, I went into management for 711 Convenience Stores. After a few years I moved to North Salem, NY. Continued working with horses. Soon after I got married, we had three beautiful children. Now all grown, with the oldest my daughter Courtney being the fifth generation horsewomen taking over, while I retired and moved down to Deland, FL.
We love it here in Deland. Currently, I am working with Exit Realty Home Team, selling manufactured homes, my wife and I live in a manufactured home in a 55+ community. I love talking to people introducing them to the Florida Life Style. Florida offers a laid back easier life, no harsh winters no shoveling of snow, just a simple relaxing atmosphere in Florida.
